How to transform your personal lifestyle and habbit?
I’m Funmilola Omokhua—a visionary entrepreneur, brand strategist, and passionate advocate for culture, empowerment, and innovation. My journey is fueled by a deep belief that business is more than profit—it’s a platform for storytelling, transformation, and impact.
As the co-founder and CEO of DressAfro, I’ve built more than a fashion brand; I’ve created a movement that celebrates African heritage while embracing modern expression. Every piece we create tells a story, every design reflects identity, and every decision is rooted in ethical values and cultural appreciation.
But my work doesn’t stop at fashion. I am deeply invested in helping other entrepreneurs bring their dreams to life—whether through branding, business strategy, or mentorship. I know what it’s like to start from scratch, to have a vision that feels bigger than yourself, and to push through challenges with determination and purpose. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting others on their journey.
My background blends business, branding, and creativity. I hold a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa and an undergraduate degree from Covenant University. With over eight years of experience in customer service and brand engagement, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what makes a business thrive—connection, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
When I’m not working on building brands, you can find me expressing my creativity through music and baking—two passions that, like business, require vision, precision, and a love for the process.
To inspire and lead with purpose, creating businesses that empower individuals and drive positive social change.
By sharing my journey, challenges, and successes, I want to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to chase their dreams with confidence.
Entrepreneurship is more than business—it’s about making a difference. I want to be an example of intentional, value-driven leadership.
Whether through fashion, business education, or mentorship, my work is dedicated to helping others step into their full potential.
Every venture I create must contribute to a better world—whether through cultural celebration, economic opportunities, or advocacy.
